This show...
The Life of Riley was part of the old CBN cable lineup through the early to mid 80's airing at 2:30AM EST.
Actually CBN at the time did a great job in bringing these old shows to the public since at the time for many years the public had overlooked these shows. Intertesing bit o'trivia about that. In 1984 local Baltimore TV station WJZ-TV did one of those "whatever became of" for their Eyewitness News only to bring up Joan Davis. At the time WJZ had said that Joan was "living in California" only to find out shortly that the Joan had died some 22 years before. They really didn't know. The woman who had hosted the report for WJZ?

Complaints and Praise
Complaints: Sloppy picture quality for a "filmed" show. Runs at 22 minutes....it should be at least 24 or 25.
Praise: Funny show. Lead character is interesting.
